    I had the exact same history. At one time I had a Ridgeline with a Viper 2 way remote. It would start when I was in a concrete and steel arena 1/2 mi. from it. The 2 way was great cause I could tell if it was running and the run time left.

    Mine works from 200 feet away if i can see the vehicle clearly. It also works from 50 or 60 ft away when the truck is in the barn and i am outside around the corner with walls between
