Our keyless start stop fob rattles, really annoying click/rattle from the "hidey" key. Makes noise when just walking with it in the pocket. Much louder when jumping up and down or prancing/skipping. I've tried Jeans, Dockers, shorts.. it still rattles in pretty much any pocket you put it in. Considered leaving the hidey key home since we never lock the tailgate but then would not have a loop to attach the really cool out-doorsy/adventure tactical tool keychain.

Does anyone else have this issue? Completely unacceptable on a 40K vehicle.

Brought it to the attention of our service writer. Found out THERE IS NO TSB for this terrible issue. May have hyperventilated a bit and passed out. Wound up in the ER so now have a hospital bill. This is all Toyota's fault, they clearly just don't care about customers' safety.

I'm thinking we should Lemon our truck for a buyback.

There is a simple solution for this. Instead of walking, jumping, skipping or prancing, simply lay down....in the middle of traffic.

You'll have to ask the helpful Honda person for it when you purchase the vehicle.

See what your failing to see, is that toyota hid all the horsepowerZ inside there. So you can expect at least a little rattle from it, come on you should've known this.

That's fairly obvious. I put a sticker on my keyfob. Had to take it off after the truck blew through the garage wall at idle.

Put a small thin rubber band around the top of the key (where the key connects to the black plastic). Or a small gasket. If it is long thin rubber band, you may need to just let the extra hang out the top side and strap the extra around the fob itself. (Silly rattle!!)
