    I just accidentally put my key fob trough a washing and drying cycle, seems fine and still working. Has it happened to anyone else?

    I did this a handful of times with my Subaru fob. Eventually lost a button cover but no issues. Changing the battery isn't a bad idea, though.

    Yes. I took mine apart and aired it out for a while. Put it back together and it’s worked perfectly ever since.

    Just open it up and let it air out. They are usually fine.

    I've only killed one fob and it was a 15 year old maxima.
