key fob

bought a new key fob couldn't get it to program took it a dealer he opened the drivers door and programmed it in about 45 sec any one know what the trick is

 

What key fob did you buy? I’d like to do the same.

 

Check out YouTube, I’m sure there’s a video that walks you through it. Probably not difficult but a bunch of little steps.

 

found it on ebay it came with the set of instructions to do about 50 steps this tech walked up to the drivers door clicked the key fob a couple of times and t was programmed ive looked on you tube never found anything there plenty of the longer methods

thats what im saying miss one step and you have to start over offered to give the tech 20.00 to show me but he would not go for it

 

all those little steps have to be done in order and in rapid succession or you have to start over, it's helpful to have some one read off the steps one by one to you as you go.

 

i understand that i was just shown a faster way with fewer steps but no one seems to know how its done

 

It’s was easy for my 2014 . Did it on first try it was about 20 steps . I found instruction off YouTube .

 

i know but what im talking about is 2 steps no opening and closing door or putting the key in and taking it out

 

Oh who cares . 2 steps 20 steps as long at it gets programmed. Maybe he does it so often he just does it really quick .
