Ok so while on vacation last week i set down on a wooden bulkhead with my keys clipped to my belt loop in the back. little did i know my truck key slipped into a crack in the wood and when i stood up it bent, and i mean a significant bend. Anyways, very carefully we fixed somewhat with some pliers and got it back halfway straight. But the key is still not 100% straight and its a little twisted. It will start my truck but i have to wiggle it a little and mess with it. SO my question is this... How do i go about getting a new key? And to put another twist on the story... my master key got lost a while back by my dad. I've been using the valet key ever since and thats the only key i have.

    Thanks!

Do you still have the little rectangle thing with the numbers on it?

If your master key is lost and your only real working key is the valet, I'd bite the bullet and get a legit key from the dealer...

I'm not sure. If yours is chipped it could run upwards of $100. If it is not chipped my local dealer will cut one for about $10.

You should have two master and one valet key. If you've lost both master keys, the valet key itself may not allow another key to be programmed into the vehicle access computer. I'd chk with a local lock smith first.

I was told by my dealer you need the black master key to reprogram another key. The grey valet key will not work.
