I have a 2009 Tacoma and I'm looking to program a new key - or even restore one of the original keys.

Xtool D7. I've used the D7's program to reprogram the key and the tool says it's successful but the key does not work.

I've used the 'Insert 'master' key 5 times leaving in on last insert, then opening and closing the door 6 times and I never see the immobilizer light stay constant as though it is in programming mode.

I'm 99% certain the key that I have is a 'master' key. Here is a video where I am seeing if it's a master key. The first key is what I think is a master and the second is one that the D7 said was successful in programming. :bananadead: It certainly will not start the car.

    Anyone?
