    Yup.

The idea was to support FI and higher flow induction if I wanted to later, went with the Deatchworks as it's rated for e85 if I wanted to do an e85 tune as well.

The Tacoma uses a recirculating fuel system that runs 100% of the time the truck is on so nothing is wasted. The pump pressurizes the rail, the pressure regulator maintains the set pressure dependent on vacuum from the intake, any additional pressure or flow gets bled off and returns to the fuel pump bucket in the tank which stays full thanks to a little flapper valve at the base of the spring loaded bucket.

You could put a 1000lph pump on and assuming the lines or fittings don't blow you still wouldn't be using any more fuel than stock it would just be going round and round the loop a lot more.

You injector orifice size and jet open time is what determines your fuel leaving the loop that's based on injector flow rate (typically stated in either CC's or lbs) and tune, if you change your injectors without adjusting your fuel map in your ECU though you're going to have a bad time.

So long as your injectors are stock sized the fuel pump rate doesn't impact consumption.

Got it. Thanks a lot for explaining.
Since we're on your truck, I noticed you have the Fox 2.5 coilover system with the DSC's. I know it's a general question, but how do you like it? I'm considering this setup for the front and 2.5 series for the rear.
Is the lift on the front created just by the shock collar adjustment or can you install a taller coil in there as well?

Love them, I know I don't get the most out of them as I don't play with the adjusters much, typically have them firmed up for the street then ake them soft for the trail. As much as I hate to admit it my truck spends more time on the street than the dirt but I absolutely love them night and day difference over the 5100's and 887 coils I had.

They came with 11" (IRC?) 600lb fox springs I switched over to 700lb 14" King springs and it rides fantastic with all the weight on the truck.

I think the Fox DSC's especially if you get them custom valved through Accutune (I did not) are about the best mid travel system you can buy.

The lift is indeed determined by how far you crank down the adjustment collars though you can run into coil bind if you go too far, that's when you need longer and or firmer springs like I put in so yes you absolutely can.

Accutune recommends not exceeding 21" from center of lower eye to top of the coil bucket with weight on and as I am set up that's exactly where it was when everything was fresh, I may have settled 1/4 now but that's probably for the best to not be at theoretical max, anything more than 21" really accelerates wear on the CV's.

The biggest suspension upgrade I have done so far though was on the rear with Archive Garage Hammer Hangers and cross brace, I regret not getting those sooner.

Appreciate the feedback! I had to look up those Archive Garage Hammer Hangers and cross brace you mentioned. I'll be taking a deeper look into those.
I'm really interested in just improving the overall ride quality off road. Some of my adventures take me hours over bumpy rocky roads or over lava fields, and it's normally painfully slow in most areas to avoid too much jostling. Right now I'm OME 885's and their Nitrochargers, which work ok, but I can only imagine what you're feeling now.
    Yes, update your thread! haha

Haven't done any welding yet, just cut off the old chincy bits and bolted in the hammer hangers installed the leaves and the other U bolt flip, did that the day I got back.

Won't be welding on the new shock relocation stuff until I finish closing on this house but the good news there is it has a nice workshop with a lift in it to make things easier.

Thank you thank you! It's massively out of date!

Sometimes I forget I even I have this, amd when I do remember I never have the time or pictures to update.

I believe it! You’ve done so much more than I have lol… it’s a little easier to keep track of mine because it’s not as built as yours. One day though!

I have no idea how it happened, just been blessed with deals and timing and here I am.

Very little was acquired new and even less hasn't had my own customisation done to it.

    I like to tinker.

I feel like the tinkerer-ers have the coolest rigs.

I’m not mechanically inclined so it’s slow going for me.
