Key remote program

I have a 2021 with a h key (not smart key push button start) and bought a new replacement. I have 2 and want a 3rd. Does anyone know how to program it with out the Techstream software.

 

Dealer ship charges $100 or a local locksmith could do it for less

 

Programming the smart key was super easy. Obviously the hkey is different, but fire up techstream and try n figure it out. The smart key has a tutorial that walks you through all the programming.

 

I have used Batteries Plus to purchase used fobs and have them program it. Less expensive than other places for sure.

 

back when chips started in keys, Ford used to have an quick and easy way to do a 3rd key as long as you had 2 keys already.

insert key 1 into ignition and turn but don't start. then remove.

insert key 2 into ignition and turn but don't start. then remove.

insert the new 3rd key into the ignition, turn but don't start. remove.

If I recall correctly, doing that would automatically program the third key.

No idea if Toyota would have something like that or not.

There’s a programmer on Amazon that you can buy that’s like $35 or something. I’ve never used it but it looks fairly simple. I’ll post a link.
Also, there’s free returns to Amazon. If it doesn’t work you can definitely return it. If it does work...technically you could still return it. Lol

i have the latest techstream and bought the correct key hkey flip style off ebay has the correct frequency but still wont program. I have seen see other with this same key and seems they got them to work.
