Is there anywhere to buy just a key transponder to put in one of those meso flip fobs without having to destroy one of your factory keys?

You don’t have to destroy it, you are just taking it apart. You can put it back to stock easily.

The transponder has to be cut out of the old key fob

I have the Meso V2 PTS key fob... there is no cutting or destruction... simply take the old fob apart, as if you're replacing the battery, and put the guts in the Meso shell. Done! And 100% reversible.

This could possibly be different for a keyed ignition and the flip fob, but I'm doubtful.

i thought there is a way to program the new transponder yourself using the old keys. thats why i wanted to buy a tansponder that is either already removed or easier to remove.

You should be able to buy a spare H-key and have it cut/programed to your truck... then chop it up.
