I have not so far - no leaks noticed. Wouldn't be too hard to put a bit of RTV around the light housing though.

That’s awesome you didn’t have to pull the headliner down to do it. How long did it take you to do this I’m going to have my shop try it.

A couple of hours. Most of it was taking apart the old harness and soldering/crimping the new harness.

Tried the recommended fix. Attached an additional ground using 12 gauge wire and ran that to the c pillar ground where to other wires and connected that. Pretty solid grounding area. Also put on 3 ferrite rings and then wrapped the wiring with metal tape. When the light is not installed on the truck but plugged in, works great, so as you install and seal it up, problem comes. Again turned off the bed lights and remote works fine. I'm good with no cargo lights when the door is open, but wanted to offer this so somebody doesn't go through a ton of work for possibly no results.

Thanks so much for sharing!!! Yeah I’ve just learned to live with no bed lights when the door is open if I need the bed lights to load something up in the dark I flip them on then back to off. Kinda a bummer it doesn’t work as intended but don’t want to be ripping it in and out messing with it and mess up the seal which is one of the main reasons for upgrading the third brake light.

Bumping this due to owning a meso BD5-NMO and will be installing soon.

No issues currently, with Amazon led domes/maps and opt7 led headlights (going back to halogen though)

Do you have your cargo lights switched to turn on with the doors?

I installed the ultimate maps, dome, turn signals, BD5 third brake light, and puddle lights. Like another member said the BD5 is the culprit. I've noticed when locking the truck if I have the fob close to the handle when I touch the lock pad it locks every time. No need to turn off cargo lights.

I installed the BD4-NMO and have the same issues. Fob issues, handle touch issues for lick and unlock and push button start issues.

I just started having this same issue after installing the MESO Ultimate Turn Signals... What can I do to fix? Am I SOL and have to revert? I do have other LED bars, and light pods but never had this issue until after turn signals.

I've had various leds installed from headlights to MESO tail light mod including dome leds. None have given me issues until the alarm install. Not issues what others have said but the range has been cut drastically. That I can understand why. No issues with door unlock and dome lights light up when close to truck etc.
Regarding the alarm, if any y'all have one installed or planning to , you need an impact sensor in the bed.
After the alarm install, I forgot to disarm and I opened and closed the tailgate. No chirps.

And also, I have a dash cam running 24/7.
No fob or door unlock issues.

Mine would work intermittently. Sometimes the range would be long, and sometimes I would need to stand right next to the truck for it to work. I couldn’t figure out why it worked that way. I though it had to do with some interference within the truck or outside sources. After a long while of troubleshooting, removing LED bulbs, etc. i found that when i unplug my rear dash cam, the remote works fine all the time. Come to find out, when the parking mode was active, power is running to the rear camera so that was when the reception was short, but if i parked long enough that the parking mode shut off, the range was longer.

i bought some ferrel chokes to wrap the power cable at the rear camera, but that would require me pulling down the headliner to get more slack to the rear and still wont know if that would fix the problem doing that much work, so i just live with it.

    i have a Blacksys CH200 BTW.

Also forgot to mention, i have a Blacksys CH100B installed in my wifes Lexus NX, and I dont have any issues with hers. The CH200 exactly the same as the CH100B, but with a slightly higher resolution.
