Hey guys I just noticed that my keyless/alarm didn't want to engage/disengage so I replaced the old battery with a new one but still no luck. What could it be? It's the VIP security alarm from the dealer.

Um I had a problem with mine. I'm not sure if it will answer your question but I'll just post problems. Also mine is a carbine.

Problem: Keyless alarm would not lock/unlock the door when pressed.
Fix: Dont press the lock button before the door is closed. I had a nasty habit of doing that. To fix the issue you have to turn the car on with the key less start, not manually.

As I remember issues I will post them.Hopefully this helps. Good luck!

Are you talking about the factory keyless entry?

Mine is having the same problem, if I push real real hard on button it will lock/unlock. I am guessing this is something to do with the remote as I too replaced the battery and no dice. Not sure what happened to the other so I cannot test to confirm.
