Keyless entry FOB - Should my truck beep?

my base 2007 didnt come with keyless entry
i got an aftermarket remote starter that can lock and unlock. came with a 2 way remote, so i get a beep on the remote. truck also flashes parking light

 

Seems like it wouldn't be that difficult to figure out with a cheap fart device off Amazon.

 

Huh... I always thought my remote was broken. it never made noise (not that I minded- the dogs would always bark when they heard the horn). My 04 Avalon & my wife's 07 Highlander both sound the horn when using the remote to lock & unlock with the fob...

 

I definitely don't want my horn to honk. But a subtle beep or something would be nice when the sun is shining bright and I can't see the lights.
