    Hello!
Recently bought a 2017 trd offroad and i realized that i have keyless entry on it but it doesn’t work right now! Key buttons work from a distance still and my push to start works fine. Does anyone know what the problem would be? thanks!

Have you checked your settings? It is a programmable feature.

I also swapped the batteries in my keys and it didn’t do anything either, it is possible that both batteries could be low but I figured since the push to start works I would think the keyless entry should be working too

Isn’t your truck still under warranty?

Do you have a battery bank plugged into the cigarette lighter? My truck did the same thing when I left it plugged in.

I bought my car from a private seller so i’m not too sure on the warranty. I don’t have anything plugged in to the cigarette lighter either. I might just need to bring it into the dealer and have them diagnose it.

Did the previous owner replace the door speakers or have any other reason to take the door panel off? Is there a 3rd party remote starter added? The wiring to the door handle sensor could have been disconnected or messed up in some way.

Verify that interior lights go on when you approach the car from drivers side also only door handle that works with key less is drivers side. So when you grab the handle nothing happen and same when you touch the top of the handle to lock? Also if push to start works sensor should be OK. If all works but the handle it should be the handle the problem.
You should check with carfax if warranty is still good unless you passed the mileage.

Exactly how are you trying to utilize keyless entry?
The fob must be within 3 feet of the driver’s door and you have to put your hand behind the handle to unlock or touch the sensor (lines) to lock.

Holding Lock while Pressing Unlock Twice will disable keyless entry. Pressing any key with cancel that

There was a post sometime in the last year that when he installed LED interior lights, his key FOB worked intermittently. Just a thought.
