I mean at least most of your stuff is tangentially related to itself. My coworkers call me an IT welder mechanic. If it can break here I can probably fix it. Overhead 678 chains and drives, load bearing rail, hydraulics, pneumatics, tools that run on both, servers, switches, firewalls, computers, handheld scanners, water softeners, PLC (super rarely), voltage up to 480vac including the VFDs, heavy equipment operator.. the list goes on and on.

@Skell knows where I work and understands.

hahahahahaha I cant put that on my resume though.

yea... very similar, hydraulic tools, air tools, saws of various types, Boss found out my dad was a welder, asked if I could weld, told him I could tack but I haven’t run a bead since I was probably 5 or 6? So I weld, carpentry, drive two different forklifts, use to drive our roll back, but my knee prevents me from pushing on the clutch, if the instructors can’t get the projector/ computer to work, I’m the last resort before calling IT. We have a few fun chemicals but they are all mostly small stuff just enough to set off a RAD meter.

Still waiting on that welding class he was gonna send me to... and the OSHA forklift class..

Pretty much my job is Jack... well Jill of all trades. Like today, used a roll back and fork lift to move a shed across the drive way to its new home, while baby sitting a dumpster fire full of unusable pallets. Woot!

OSHA forklift classes are just videos generally. Certification is always job specific and non-transferable between companies. Unless you mean as a certified forklift operator trainer.

Oh yeah, I do safety too.

Haha yes. The certified forklift class, we teach a class probably every 8weeks give or take? Which is annoying since we teach it at both our facilities now.

They do lecture, inspections, and a cone and pallet, pallet with barrels course.

Hey guys, I found this tacoma on cargurus. Its at Conicelli toyota of Conshohocken, PA. Is there anyone close to this dealer that won't mind stopping by and check it out for me? The truck looks pretty good in the ad, but I know you guys have salted roads in the winter. I would like to know what the under carriage looks like. How bad is the rust on the frame and suspension. Here's a link to the ad. Thank you guys for any help you can provide.

Wow it sounds like people really have to work.

I just go place to place and visit people if any work gets done it is purely by chance

Although going from place to place is getting much more interesting

Someone posted a really detailed write up on rotors and I can't find it to save my life. But long story short directional/slotted/dimpled seemed the best way to go. As far as the EBC brake pads go this is the first time I'm trying them out, I wanted something severe duty because of the extra weight (cap, skids, plated bumpers, sliders,me,etc) and daily city driving. Normally I would just get premium pads and rotors and call it a day.
