TIG is great for the control. It sucks due to the speed. IlI' probably buy a MIG machine before a plasma cutter

All Everlast stuff uses industry standard consumables.
Of course their Mig guns and Tig torches should be immediately swapped out for good stuff.

 

You can get some good travel speed with TIG actually. Once you get good enough. But TIG is awesome for the control factor. I had to weld some chain links together recently to extend a chain. Heated, dabbed a time or two and done. With Mig would have had a blob and very little penetration.
