I used the AOAA thread as mine basically, nbd.

 

I got that part down but I don't have the skills for calculating material strength , tolerances and weight.

All those numbers can be found by finding the formulas plugging your numbers and doing the math

formulas should be simple to find

 

Anticipated load? Crossbars on top for tent mounting or tent on lid?

 

@Skell he had made me a full set of skids for my 1st gen, RPG proof

 

good point Jon, Anticipated load... im thinking 400# max. and Crossbars or some kind of bed rack on top for tent mounting.

Do you want it in sheet metal? If so, what thickness? Do you need a flat pattern or DXF?
