    Wow, full of new people today. I'm new to this thread. I just posted in the Lehigh Valley one asking about whether anyone has resources for some parts I need for upcoming work I'm gonna do on my Taco. Anyone got parts?

    "Hi there. I live near Reading. I'm looking for some parts and wonder if you local guys can point me to any good sources. I had a Toyota MR2 for many years and was active with local people for that. Great source to share used parts and help each other out. I'm hoping to make some connections like that for my Tacoma here so I can keep my beast running economically. I do almost all of my own work, so if I can find parts from friends then I'm golden. Some current projects I'm planning out (and searching for parts for) before my next inspection in July will be to change out the gas tank, as well as re-doing my front struts/springs/arms."

    Spent a ton of my free time last summer chasing down that stupid small evap leak code. Friend smoke tested it as the filler neck. I replaced that. Code came back. Got myself a cheap smoke testing kit and tracked the next leak to the rollover valve on the top of the tank. Replaced that. Luckily passed inspection but code came back (muhaha I had a whole year to deal with that again since I passed). This year I'm just changing the tank and being done with the rusty bugger.

    Have you priced one in the after market? Probably not much more then your gonna pay for a used one, plus your gas to chase one down.
    What are the specs for your truck? I will do some checking.
