I literally just walked past one 10 minutes ago near center city philly

 

It’s also telling how a KFC in center city has 2 layers of Bullet proof glass

 

Is the fluid level sensor stuck down possibly?

 

Saw Jim Gaffigan tonight. He was pretty funny. I was more impressed with the restoration of the The Met Philadelphia venue.
Side note: security will make a big stink if one tries to enter with a pocket knife and Leatherman....

A damp sponge makes less mess than a sanding block.

 

Must be a coke night

 

I’ve yet to see a carpenter on any job site use a damp sponge over a sanding block

 

Job sites are different you expect dust. In a finished house for a couple of touch ups on the wall I have used a damp sponge.

 

"Dust Control" spackle makes a difference too.

 

You would t believe the dust, it’s like a haze everywhere

 

I'll keep these in mind!

 

I worked in the carpenters union for a couple years, and I didn't carry each bit of knowledge I learned into my craftsman house with the intention of using only that mindset to complete some of the renovations I needed to accomplish.

Apples and Oranges really... old construction (plaster/lath/12" center woodbeams) vs new construction (drywall/metal studs, 16" centers)

I just finished the living room at the house.... and had 4 hours of tapping off trim and covering the floors; that alone with have carpenters confused



who commented earlier about not liking wood trim and covering it with white paint?!?!

 

Always been too expensive for me. Would love to go some year.
