    Ahh, waste water issues.
Last year our neighbor's tree caused complete blockage of main line behind the house during last summers rain storms.( tree roots) Sewer water started filling the tub and shooting out from under the toilet. Bathroom, front & back bed room and hallway flooded! Battled the water with my 16G shop vac for 4 hours straight until they bored out the line. Then the water pressure doubled when they were pushing through the clog. Fun times....
After day three of the flood, the house started to smell sweet!

The Rapco near me is cool. Even better if you forget a case of beer in the bed.

I'm finishing our bathroom remodel, it's worth it, even if it is a giant pain in the ass.

Got to love that. My second job is at a pretty nice restaurant and we have people walk off all the time. Something about having to actually work when you are there that gets everyone.

Mine has lead as well. Along with knob and tube wiring. I had a picture of a lead joint wipe or whatever they call it. Pretty neat. Cant find the pic at the moment...

The fuck of it is, knob and tube is a lot safer (at rated loads) than the 50s clothbound romex, as the hot and neutral area almost always in entirely separate places in the wall. If you overheat k/t it usually won't arc. If you overheat cloth romex enough it burns all the insulation off, then your hot and neutral are touching and you get an arc/fire.

That's mighty generous Minerva09! I might take you up on that some time. I live in Oley (next town over from Fleetwood), and have a 2 car garage myself. But if I ever need more room on a project maybe I'll look you up. I'm going to do some work on my truck somewhere in the next few months: gas tank, struts, leaf springs (maybe). Generally that might take me a few day's worth of spare time (a few hours here and there over the course of a week or two depending on what else is pressing in life). Is your offer good for "one day" kind of projects or for anything potentially longer like that? Now I'm not a deadbeat and not going to leave a disassembled truck on your hands and skip town because I'm getting evicted for not paying the rent, and oh yeah, the police are also on to me... that kind of person.

I am actually considering erecting a car port in front of my garage. I think it would be nice to have the option when the garage is full to park out of the weather.

Separate in the wall and, according to my electrician dad, separate in the building. He said they usually run the hot up one wall and across the ceiling. The neutral goes up the opposite end wall and across the ceiling. I'm rehabbing the apartment I'm living in the building I own. I put a sub panel in the apartment and am rewiring. Just about halfway done the rewire.

@testelle Im familiar with Oley, I frequent Bella Italia there. The shops right uptop of the hill on 73, Breezy Park Drive.. and off course my offer stands for more than a one day period... I couldn’t kick a guy out mid project!!

And if you were that kind of guy; we have a 10ton Hyster forklift that says we can move the truck wherever we need to if need be
