I've been regularly surfing Tacoma World and Craigslist for some parts I need. Just figured I'd pass a link on a parts truck I just saw on Craigslist for peoples close to the Philly area.

    https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/pts/d/bristol-toyota-tacoma-parting-out/6852005296.html

I'm still looking for used leaf springs and am trying to square away the topic of whether the leafs are the same on ALL gen.1 regardless of cabin, bed length, 4x4, engine, etc. I thought they were different but would love to be told if I can buy the leafs off of any gen.1 Taco and be done with the search.

Leaf springs from any 98-04 six lug Taco (either 4WD or PreRunner) should bolt right on. From what I've read here the 95.5-97 models use shorter length springs similar to the old Toyota pickups.

I just called him about the leaf springs. Sounds like a Russian guy. Said to call back next week because he needs the vehicle to be mobile at this time and can't get me the leafs till he'd have it up on blocks (of course).

So you have the 60/40 seat? If so you might just need to do a little cutting underneath and tucking of fabric to make it into a bucket. Then all you'd have to buy is a center console.

I did that on my '99 S-10 and it worked out really well, looked stock since the modified side of the seat was mostly hidden by the console. You should pull your seat out and have a look underneath to see if that's possible.

Evening y’all. Might try to fit up the bumper this weekend if the weather holds out. If anyone local has a free couple hours I wouldn’t say no to some company. Fridge is always stocked with beer.

yeah I've got some minor surface rust but nothing too bad. im not worried about getting everything apart if im buying new hardware anyway. I picked up some stock uca's from another member here that I should probably throw some poly bushings in while im at it. I do love an excuse to buy new tools and use a torch! thanks for the help!

Honestly if you think the hardware is in good shape don't spend the money. An impact will deal with a lot of rust, but definitely be prepared to cut those stupid fucking rear shocks off at the top because they NEVER come apart right. I ripped mine off at 200 miles and the fucking nut didn't come off.

I've been up for a few hours trying to figure out if I should install the new front suspension? Kings, but I bought them used. I have no idea what they're set at it where to start. I guess put them on and see

What's in the rear? I mean, you'll probably need an alignment regardless unless they're an exact match for ride height of your current setup.
