    I had a similar interaction in real life. I love yard sales. Went to one and they has a minn kota electric 36lb thrust boat motor for sale, with the wires ripped off, but still otherwise in great shape and a newer model at that. I asked how much, wife said 40. I said done. Hubby gets all shitty and says well with the wires he could get 100. I said attach new wires or it's now 35...the two of them argued about his useless shit laying around. Now I have an electric boat motor.
