No, I have Mobtown rear bumper (standard clearance) with swingout. I like CBI T3 front bumper esthetically better.

Hah! It's only because that's what my dad was. I learned the trade as I grew up working with him. Now I'm not even an electrician per se. I maintain signals on the train lines. Still dealing with electricity, but at a very different level. Had a trouble call the other night, burned out green LED signal. Changing that was all that I did that day. Actually had to break out the ladder too.

I've seen something very similar. In person. In Kensington.

Dropping it off isn’t a big deal, I just assumed the TSB for the trans was something other than clearing the “memory”. Like maybe a software update, patch etc

Service Manager called yesterday Morning at 10:30 am(said the appointment was Tuesday morning and checked it out then, so why didn’t he call me back sooner?) said they found no issues through a diagnostics check, oil level is perfect, motor is not stuttering and has no lights active on the dash and ran a fault code check to no avail. He asked for permission to road test it, I gave permission and he said he would call me back in alittle. Fast forward to today, still no call back, so I called and left him a voicemail he finally got back to me and said after he test drove it he didn’t feel any symptoms or anything and said I could pick it up. I told him if any symptoms happened on the way home that my dad felt while driving, he was turning around and coming back.

They have to test drive it to see if you actually have a problem. Then they flash the ecu/tcu (takes 5 minutes tops) then another test drive

Corporate says “ The dealership is our eyes and ears so what they say goes in terms of investigating issues or concerns you may have with your vehicle. You may take it to another dealer but they could tel you the same exact thing. I can’t sit here on the phone and explain what might happen if you take it to another dealer nor do I know what else I can say to you or what you want. “ I asked her how it’s a characteristic of the vehicle if it didn’t happen until after a repair and she goes did you ask the service manager? And I said I did and he just said what the field technician said is that it’s a characteristic. I will never buy another Toyota.

Anyone here had frame replacement in philly area, suburbs or NJ?

I had inspection for my 2008 and it passed inspection, but they didn’t spend much time — it was quick.

Honesty my frame looks good to me and I tapped around a lot. The only thing I can find is separation of layers in a few spots, sort of the “delamination” of layers that I’ve read about.

If anyone has a dealer that would take a closer look and knows about delayering of the frame for replacement, please PM me or reply.

    Thx ahead of time.
