ABS light on won't fail you.

I had some kinda emissions code pop up and bought a URD simulator. Basically plugs into the vehicle wiring then you plug the rear o2 sensor into it (In series) that helped me pass emissions tests a few times :spy:

I'll look around for it and if you want to see if it works I can ship it out to ya

I go with the exhaust leak !!

Not all gaskets are created equal might be the same part number but quality was very poor.

I went through a few till I started to buy them direct from Walker

Now unless things changed A ABS code will not fail you here in the Commonwealth as long as everything else in the brake system works.

Sounds good. I will do the leak anyway but maybe that thingamajig can help if the code comes back. Another friend once told me about a "bung extender" i could slap between the sensor and the pipe too.

I had a raptor 660 and kfx700 I believe that's what it was. I miss riding quads but there's no where to ride anymore Jersey especially my area is so built up now.

@FreshOldTaco all the places I used to ride dirt are all houses now. It's a huge bummer. Lot of my friends have been buying dual sports so they legally can ride to different dirt trails. I'm gonna wait till next season. I have my mind made up on the ktm690r

Does anyone know if a steel bumper is illegal in PA? I found this online and number 3 concerns me as I would like to get an ARB bumper. I know they stick out a bit. has anyone with a bumper been hassled or gotten a ticket for having one? thanks!

    (e) Bumpers. A vehicle specified under this subchapter shall be equipped with bumpers of a type used as original equipment, or suitable replacement which is equal to or greater in strength than that provided by the vehicle manufacturer, securely attached to the chassis or frame. See 75 Pa.C.S. § 4536 (relating to bumpers).

    (1) A bumper shall be of at least equivalent strength and mounting as the original equipment.

    (2) No portion of a bumper may be broken, torn or protruding to create a hazard.

    (3) A bumper may not extend beyond the body line or be longer than original equipment, whichever is greater.

    (4) A wood plank bumper is permitted on a road service truck or wrecker if it is firmly attached to a regular bumper or equivalent steel backing.

    (5) Some part of the main horizontal bumper bar on passenger vehicles shall fall within 16-20 inches above ground level.

    (6) Some part of the main horizontal bumper bar on multipurpose passenger vehicles and light trucks shall fall within 16-30 inches above ground level.

What part of that makes you think it would be illegal?

I've been pulled over with an ARB on both a 2nd and 3rd gen and the cop didn't even look at it. I get mine inspected at the dealership where they can be picky and they don't even look twice.

Edit: You're confused about part 3. It doesn't mean in length it means in width. They don't care if shit sticks out forward.

That will make getting around much easier.

Sweet, bet they were quick. I hear ya I used to mostly ride the pine barrens which wasn’t legal. My parents live in Manchester Twp and the fire trails were right down the street. We used to sneak into the sandpits and climb the giant ass hills, it was awesome. They started burying spikes in the ground to flatten tires which sucked so we stopped riding there. Also been chased by the game warden more than once lol so it was getting too risky.

I would think number 3 as the bumper protrudes past the original equipment. looking to get people experiences and yours is exactly what I want to hear!

See my edit. That refers to width of the bodyline, not the length.

Yeah everything is so built up a lot has changed. I'd like to get a dual sport too, that's the most practical solution I think. KTM's are really nice. I know there are tracks and outdoor parks that you can pay to ride at but sometimes it's nice to just hop on and go vs. packing everything up in the truck.

What caught my eye on the ktm690r is the oil change intervals 6200mi. Sure beats the 500exc which my bro has and has to change the oil every 15hrs. And I know that big ass hill ur talking about been there I didn't do cuz I'm afraid of heights. Lol I know my bike was more then capable but I said nope!
