It was an hour of pure terror on one trial.

I think I have more work to do, I mean spend more money on my truck before I can go on a trail like that again.

I have to do a 12pm Newark airport run. If you get an early start maybe I will run up there and head to the airport from FRO.

You could do it. Drop the auto trans to L and drive with the throttle. Crawl right up that bitch

@Tomshouse516 sent me the coordinates, the trail head is really close to the dragline.

I really want to try it this weekend.

I think this is the last piece I needed for full recovery options on the trial.

That looks like an anchor to me. there are no provisions for a D-ring on your bumper?

No, the ARB is not designed for snatch pulling.

Dang. I just feel like I could see that getting hung up on a rock on a more serious trail.

That being said I am sure my bumper could use and additional tie back onto the frame for support. The stock bumper plate and lower hang down thing don't seem all that durable if you are really stuck.

Do you have an aftermarket locker? I see you're a sport. The designation on that trail is a black/red. Would be wise to be locked or have the option to be. From the looks of the entrance, it could have a lot of larger loose rocks. I always try everything without my locker first, even when our leader locks his rear. But sometimes that magic button needs pushing.

Yep. I've scraped my bumper and ifs skid on many a rock face, trying to get up it.. This also adds to my personal dislike of that bumper.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great on that truck. But for me, not the best choice.

Yea, Im not into crawling over boulders. If I'm hitting something that big, I'm backing up and going around or getting off that trail.

I didn't get pictures of where the rocks get much bigger because I tripped and fell into the water with my phone in my hand and decided it wasn't a great idea to be hiking that trail and not paying attention.

I grabbed jumpers full skid set so I am only sliders and rear bumper away from pushing it on some of these gnarlier trails.

Gears at some point but for now stock gears and the stock TRD locker will have to due.
