Set of 4 to get rid of? Specs? Not immediately but maybe winter. I may need a used set to get me through until I can commit to 315's.

FWIW I didn't get a ticket. It's such a back road I think he just wanted to yell at me. Also he was unmarked so his speedo cert might not have been up to date.

    Check out my shenaniganz...

I just heard from the station I use for inspection. They won't pass the truck. No mechanical problems but he doesn't want to pass it for the body rust. None of the spots are anywhere where exhaust gasses can enter the car, so its BS. I'm frustrated. Going to take it to my brother-in-laws place where he uses for his rusty as swiss cheese Dodge truck (its 10 times worse than my truck if you thought mine was bad). Hopefully they don't give me the song and dance there. This guy today said that "police are really cracking down on us now..." and went on to describe how one came to his place in the past year with photographs in a binder of a rusty truck, its license plate, and its inspection stickers asking if it was from his shop and that he's going to crack down and fine them if so... like losing their license for 6 months.

    rrrrrrrrrrrr!

So how can I remove the spare tire winch without removing or lifting the bed? I'm going to build a bed rack and want to mount the spare under the rack. Or does anyone already have theirs removed want to donate it?

So I'm going to be moving from Philly to Texas in September and I am thinking about buying a small utility trailer to move a few things that I can't put in a moving truck or pod. I've been researching how trailer registrations work around here and I just get more confused. I've owned multiple trailers when I lived in Florida and it was pretty easy going.

Ideally, I would buy a used trailer somewhere around Philly (NJ, DE, PA) and not register it until I get to Texas. Does anyone know the legality of this? Is there a certain number of days that counts as a grace period? What happens if I find a trailer in NJ? Do you think a bill of sale would be good enough to drive across the country and not get ticketed for no registration?

Reckless is one of those that's really hard to make stick on a road that sees a couple cars per hour.

It definitely would have been 5 points and a big ass fine though.

According to TX, you have to register within 30 days of moving to the state. Are you saying that's kind of like when you move to a new address within the state youre supposed to get a new driver's license, but no one really does that?

That's not a big deal for my truck since mine expires in October, I just don't want to have to register the trailer twice in a month.
