Yokohama Geolandar H/T's. The A/T's were discontinued apparently. Not one of my wisest decisions, but I'll have to stick with them. They do have plenty of sipes so we'll see. I've encountered that once with some Bridgestones; terrible in wet, great in snow.

Back when I had my WRX(Subaru sells them with summer only tires, half understand the reasoning behind it) I got away with waiting until early November, but then again the one year it snowed on Halloween. So it’s all personal preference. I did not enjoy riding on hockey pucks any time it got to 45 so that’s why I did mine early, but if you have all seasons you’ll be fine and can judge it on weather forecast etc.

That’s a shame. Hopefully no hidden damage and hopefully it’s all good!

Any of you work with the Amish? I have an Amish steel erector on my job and he’s one of the most arrogant, ignorant people I’ve ever met.
I’m hoping it’s just him and not Amish in general.

I've heard mixed things about Amish folks but I think that could be said about any group to be honest...

Jokes about only amish when other amish are around as they talk on their cellphones etc.

I've had more bad interactions than good, but the good ones usually make up for the bad ones. I do know alot of people that downright hate them though.

I think it depends on the clan to honest, but people are individuals as well. We have a lot of amish in the area. One clan is traditional amish, and no one pays them any mind. The other is like half amish, they use some technology that benefits them, and get rides instead of using buggies for everything. They are extremely arrogant, usually not ignorant unless you're talking pop culture though. I admire their chosen way of life, however can't stand a single one of the parasitic fucks. They move in buy every decent old farm for ridiculous prices and drive all real estate up. Then after they use all the natural resources they pack up and move onto the next area they can decimate. Completely ruined hunting and fishing in my local area. Enough so, that I won't even look at property in the area.

They also buy as a group through the "church". You can pool alot of resources and skip alot of taxes that way.

I don't know what it is, but a farm house in my area has been a dream for years. Not anymore. Marcellus shale didn't help property prices, but $2000/acre was pretty standard for around here. They are paying 4500/acre. No one around here can compete with those prices so they are getting all of the really prime properties. They move in log off every bit of timber, hunt and fish until nothing is left, then move on to the next one. Everyone is too busy to do anything or are the few benefactors of their relocation and think they are the best. I've had multiple run ins on my hunting property. The most two faced fuckers I've ever met. Respectful and nice to your face, as soon as they can get one up on you or feel like they can get away with something they will.

That isn't to say that there aren't good ones, because there are some really stand up members as well.

I haven’t had much interaction with the Amish and I basically live in an Amish area. Like I said in original post, I don’t like or want to generalize the group on one individual. As some of you posted, and I agree, ignorance/arrogance is found everywhere. Every other sub on this job is courteous and works together...then there’s this guy!?!
I shouldn’t let him aggravate me so, it’s just a job.

It does pretty well. It has an anti-tilt bracket so it doesn’t rock. You can feel the weight on the back but it is completely manageable.
