What size tire are you going to be running with such a low gear ratio?

Hey @Redmann, recently you posted pics of your compressor install, and bracket fab. I can't find it...
Could you post a few again, or point me right direction. Need install ideas.
    Thanks

    Thanks
    That's an excellent choice! Lol.
I was thinking about the same spot as well, and was trying to think up a bracket for it, but I didn't pick up compressor from @Grand dude yet.

It's viable on 3rds at 33s actually, mainly because of our dual overdrive gears. 35s would really be recommended though.

uggh, waiting for paint to dry... literally

So I had the smart idea to re-do my snowflake rims while I had my truck off the road for the rocker job. Got them all back to bare metal since the paint was so soooo aweful corroded down anyway to base metal. Then I got them all primed yesterday and wet sanded. Then I have this second guess that I should maybe have more than 1 can of the color paint (Duplicolor HWP 102 Graphite). I'm looking at the instructions and it says if not finishing the recommended 4 coats within a 1 hour time to then wait an entire week before more coats. Holy moly! So I decided not to get started on color last night and pick up another can of color first. Then I run out to Advance on my break after calling them this MORNING and they don't have the can they said was on the shelf this morning! (And BTW, they also show 3 in their system in their building at that moment... which aren't there!). Friggin-A.

So then I get the sinking feeling that I may have planned out my junk wrong and wonder how long it takes to mount the tires on after freshly painting the rims so as not to botch up my paint job (since the can said 7 days for paint to cure before re-coats). Some googling tells me that I should indeed wait a long time (days to a month) but an even better idea is to mount the tires now that they're primed, THEN paint and ALSO wait the recommended time and finally inflate.

    Aye caramba.

    Any tips?

So who here has dealt with Toyota Corporate? North Hills Toyota has completely fucked up and keeps fucking up Carol's brand new Rav4. They were simply supposed to do the full TST coating treatment inside and out, undercoating. Simple right? Not for these cockwaffles working there.

First time to go pick it up after they said everything was done it was actually dirtier than when we dropped it off. Not treated inside or out, the scuff on the back passenger door isn't buffed out and now has scratches on the door and quarter. Told them to do their job and make it right.

Go back a couple days later to find out they undecorated the undercarriage without removing the full belly skid plates and on a four post lift so you'd think they'd remove the wheels and tires for better access to the wheelwells, nope, undercoating all over the wheels and exhuast. Look around the car more, now it has scratches on the door and a big chip missing on the door edge below the door guard. They tell me they'll fix it but need to keep it longer. I told them go ahead. Go back today three days later. They told me the undercoating is off the wheels and exhaust, only proble. With that is they scuffed the fucking paint off the wheels too and didn't get all the undercoating off the wheels. They didn't do anything about the door scratches.

I'm ready to tell them to keep the Rav4 and either give me my $8k cash down payment back (got financed thru Toyota) or get me another brand new Rav4 same model and options. What would you guys do? I know a couple of you work at toyota dealers.

We bought it August 1st. That's probably why they're trying to drag it out so I cant tell them to keep it. How would I get my $8k cash down payment back?

I paint wheels on police cars all the time. Using wheel paint. 2-3,coats waiting 20 minutes between coats, let dry overnight, mount tires the next day and away they go.
