Reassuring, as I have to complete this today. I believe my old ones were McCord, I just had a hard time finding a socket that would fit with my wheels.

I had my winch installed as I don't have a clue with wiring. The fairlead wasn't compatible, so I got one. Went to install yesterday and they stipped the screw holding my cable to drum. They are going to honor it and install my fairlead for free, but I have to get the truck to the shop in the next 2 days. Need my DD because armor and MPH don't mix.

Is there any interest in (4) Like new - basically take-offs - 3rd Gen TRD OR wheels? No sensors - wheels only. Can post pics if any interest. Hoping for $450 for the set. Won't break unless all (4) are sold...
    Damn bills....

2 days to install a fairlead and winch?

I could probably get that done in the AOAA parking lot..

I live in New Jersey, taxes are through the roof and car insurance is the highest in the nation. It is a death sentence living here with no escape.

Final product. Just put her on the ground today. Still have the bed to swap but at least for now I don't have to drive the Volvo. Plus with the black bed I wanted to be sure I had a picture of what the red bed looked like with the black sides for comparison.

No, i'm giving them 2 days to complete it. It is a matter of principle now. I paid to have it installed and they goobered the fuck out of the nut. I could've gotten an easy out and tried to find a screw to fit, but since i paid them to install, they can fix it right. I would've had it done before work yesterday, had all gone well. The extra fucking around would've made me late for work and have 100' of cable sticking out the front. I'm also done with this shop. Some work is pretty good, others I could do just as half assed of a job. I'm just trying to get what i paid for and then might as well fuck the work up myself and save me some money. I hate not having a legitimate professional shop anywhere close to me. Around here it is all ASE mechanics, there are some good ones, they do the real mechanic work (motor, tranny, diffs) the rest are typically backyard hacks like myself. They can change oil and bolt stuff on (kind of).

Turned out pretty well. Nice job, it was a lot of work but something to be proud of. Ever hear about that cap?

I've been lurking and see there are a lot of folks in the Lansdale / Hatfield area here. I just put a new head unit in and wondering if anyone with a modest audio system can let me get a listen. I'm trying to decide what my next step may or may not be.

I kinda moved to South Jersey with my girlfriend. I still maintain my philly residence though. The house she is renting (which she plans to buy) isn't much more taxes than that of the suburbs of philly. I grew up in North Jersey and my family moved out in 2002 because our taxes. They were cresting 10k per year and that was before the appraisal of the addition we put on the house.

    How's your hole?

My mom had colon cancer at a very young age. As a result, I had to go get scoped 3 years ago, as did her brothers. They found nothing in me, but found polyps in her younger brother. Nothing alarming, but still... the prep for the procedure isn't fun

My coworker was telling me his grandpas on both sides died of colon cancer, his dad has colon cancer, and they found questionable stuff in his brother.

I told him it's probably time to go get rotorooted. He agreed.. he's 33.
