    I grew up in NY (NYC suburbs) and I find it hilarious when people say "PA roads suck"

    NY the taxes are double and the roads are easily 5x worse.

    I like PA, 5 years in and happy to be here.

    At least in Pennsylvania they actually let us have booze, despite the stupid liquor laws!

    I know for a fact that alcohol is illegal in Iran, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal in Saudi Arabia; 99% sure it's heavily regulated in the U.A.E too...

    I just wind up getting liquor in Maryland since I live so close. It's usually a couple bucks cheaper so it wouldn't be worth it to drive 40 minutes just for that but since the places I go to and I work there it works out if you make a trip out of it. Gas used to be a lot cheaper, but the gap is closing to about $.10-$.15/gal cheaper in MD. Although $3.35/gal for 93 today here in town was a bit of a shocker. Luckily I only use that in the summer cars...

    I'm not to concerned about alcohol. I don't drink anymore. The cocaine and prostitution market took a hit after that happened.

    I like going there for vacation, but I would never want to actually live there; At least not California. Oregon (@El Duderino) and Washington don't seem so bad though!
