Oh man Charlie!!! Too young to recognize the Decepticon emblem (or not a fan of the newer movies)? The original Transformers came out when I was a kid, like 3rd grade. I still have a few of the original toys packed away in a closet to sell off some day.

How about just you and one other go in to check vitals, empty litter boxes, give meds, and then go home. An hour or two, maybe. Just a suggestion. MY daughter is a vet tech and would appreciate my suggestion. If your office is close enough to a VSEC, that could be put on the answering machine for the next two days. :notsure:

I love Transformers, but the only movies I watched were the ones from 2007 onward...

Wasn’t a fan of the newer Transformers movies, especially the Mark Wahlberg one...

Yeah, we do stuff like that some years. Kinda depends on how the holiday rolls out in the week, as to which day. This year with Christmas and New Years both on a Wednesday, it just kinda didn't make for a good excuse for a 3 day weekend.

Thankfully there's no hospitalized patients at the moment and we just have some appointments today.

Crap... just checked Ebay. Original Optimus Prime figures in packaging... like $30. Guess I'm never getting rich off my action figures. Mine doesn't have packaging and has had stickers wear off it.

Same with this sucker... [IMG] . Like only $20 loose. I gots one-a-dem. Oh the pain of broken dreams. My mom had an original Superman comic that my grandma threw out at one point. I heard that crap was worth like $150K when I was younger. So, I figured I'd save some of my toys and get rich some day. I'll check again on their prices in another 30 years. Maybe Yoda and the Transformers will bail me out some day.

About the worst job I ever had was detailing car at a dealership part-time; It wasn’t bad enough that it was in an undersized facility with no air-conditioning and aging equipment...

We literally had to work on all the days when it seemed like normal people would have the day off; The day before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, and Labor Day! Part-timers only got Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays off, and had to work nine hours every Saturday.

I negotiated with my boss to work Monday through Wednesday so I wouldn’t have to work the night shift on Friday and then be in at 7:50am on Saturday.

Also, it was flat rate (as in per vehicle, based on the size of the vehicle) and not hourly; If nobody was buying cars that day we got screwed!

In just ten months of working there, the job was starting to cost me my sanity so I put in my two weeks’ notice and left.

Yeah MGM. He owns Sounds of Tristate in delco. I think his shop is now on MacDade Blvd.

@El Dahs said exactly what I was going to. I had the same query as you in terms of adding a front locker. I'll need to regear at some point. I figured since I'll be in there, I might as well do it. Since I already have a compressor installed, it should be easy after all.

I'm not going to add a locker. Honestly, I've never needed it. The times where I needed some assistance for the front, the ATRAC was sufficient. It's either that or pick a different line. For me, I'll save that money for other mods. Like Greg said, I rarely use the ATRAC. We routinely run blues and stick to the blacks. Honestly, my rear locker barely gets used.

Come out with us. You'll be surprised at what these trucks can do in the hands of great drivers.

Thanks for the thoughts. I knew there would be mixed thoughts and reactions. So far the only argument for a locker has been (might as well while you're in there). In terms of the needle bearing yes that makes sense, but when you're talking $1500-2K it doesn't make sense to me to mod just because I'm in there. I have other build plans, and by skimping on the locker, I can get the rest of my build moving. I'm more of an overlander than wheeler, but also enjoy the trails.

I ran blues with Skell at AOAA, and they were about all that I care to run at the moment. I have to develop my skills on trail before thinking about blacks. I run a MT, and need to figure out the whole 3 pedal 2 feet thing. I'm pretty hard on my shit on blues, so until i get a little experience and learn to use the motor and tranny instead of the clutch I have no need to go bigger. If you have no problems with a total newb holding you up and having a million questions I'd be down sometime. I actually saw some trails in the jersey thread that looked pretty awesome.

I think I'll just price everything out both ways and see where it lands.

My vet has the same dilemma I think. She's closed this year, but I know she also works at the local emergency vet clinic and is probably there instead.

She has also eliminated weekend hours to try to give her employees a life, but has expanded late hours.
