I believe adding an arb to the front is around 800$ from east coast. A crawl box might be more useful with the manual.

Honestly the best thing you can take on a hard trail is @stairgod or @El Dahs.

Good spotters with experience will go a long way. They took me on a black or two while I was on 31s and armored.

Funny you mention the crawl box, I had a similar conversation with @HomerTaco about it. I really want the re-gear because my first and reverse are way too long. The crawl box would make the MT much more useful on trails and save the clutch a lot of abuse.

I just don't know which would be a more functional or useful mod. The crawlbox or re-gear

I would think re gear first that’s going to help all around driveablity. And help you out with that manual.
What size tires are you on and what size do you plan on getting next?

Depends on how much you want to spend...
regear is way less expensive than a crawl box. At this point just getting the parts to install one is a challenge.

I just chatted about mild suspension mods with a Taco owner at the Oley Sunoco. Thought I'd drop a note to see if it anyone on here.

    Happy Holidays!

Finally got my truck back a week late. I need to take it back and have the bed realigned because it's on slightly crooked by about an inch. Enough to where I'll have to wait to put my cap back on. Going back in the spring to get the new side Baja decals put on after the paint cures. Can't really tell if the color is matched perfectly until we get some sun. Put a light up to it but can't really tell with the overcast and fog.

Overcast is actually good to check a color match. Just look down the side of the truck from the front bumper towards the rear, and you should see a color difference if there is one, from new paint to old. ( assuming the whole side wasn't painted)
