they claim the drums are aftermarket and that’s what they tried to fight me on. ( which has no effect on the real problem). They did not mention a word about the lift on my truck.

unless your lift directly effects a defective or part that you would need repaired under warranty then your warranty is fine. If the engine goes , they can’t blame the lift.

 

I figured that if its something directly connected to the lift, like say the differential or a CV joint then yea there'd be an issue but no one at Tri County Toyota would just give me a straight answer, they just beat around the bush. But if the drums are just an OE replacement what's it matter? A drum is a drum haha. Seems like these days company's try every which way just to not pay or replace something. What dealer did you get your Taco from?

 

True but you may need to hire a lawyer to make it stick.

Find another dealer!! They are not all the same.

I will say it does tend to upset people when you just walk in for warranty service completely unknown to them.

I hear it all the time in my line of work .

I heard stories of dealers not wanting to do the extended Frame warranty on Trucks the were fixed My local dealer Service manger said" What a crock " This was in the buy back time period .

 

They get worse all the time.

Maybe it will blow itself out till it gets here ?

Could get interesting the Warm Moist air coming from the south the blizzard coming east out of the mid west .

time will tell.

Barely a dusting, Hell we had more Thursday night from the squalls. Looks like the storm somewhat petered out, fine by me honestly. Told ya guys it wouldn't do much since I got the snow blower out.

Yea but it felt like one of those in the blink of an eye changes. Happened at work the other week, walk up to the front of my trailer to get a customer's skid of freight and by the time I turn around to bring it back out theres a blizzard of a snow squall dumping tiny little balls of snow hahaha
