We actually mount to more than that. That is a first gen bumper but it appears to be missing the extra brackets that clamped it to the frame.

 

Just the trip to the ER originally.

Building an IERS Internal Erector Rack System. Wired up 4 KC puck(blue) lights to it. going to mount a power distribution panel for dual battery set up and fire extinguisher mount. It will also hold three fishing poles on top and what ever else I can think of.

If I was closer I would offer but at 2 hours or so away just to far.

Things just have a way of taking much longer then figured . Just like that you could 10 hours of driving time.

Make sure you have the correct installation kit for your Truck.

What kind of money were you quoted??

 

If the quote was for 12 hours I'd say it was fair. It took me at least that. You have to disassemble (carefully), cut the bumper cover, cut the fender flares, cut the grill, mount the bracket, reinstall all the cut pieces, mount the bumper, align, drill holes to hold it, install the tension plates, install fogs, wire fogs, cut the wheel liners, and a bunch of other little shit.

That's if you're not also installing a winch. Which you realize doesn't come with bolts long enough to mount to the ARB plate so you have to run to the hardware store for weird metric sized bolts in a grade 8.

How involved is it to remove the bed on our second gens?.

Edit this is for a future project

 

Six bolts holding the bed you have to disconnect the wiring for the tail lights and then I believe it’s two or three bolts for the filler neck for the gas tank.
That’s it, the bed comes off.

If you're doing the evap canister, maybe we should do them at the same time. I am too far away, but also need to do this as well.
