I completely saw that too. 2pm on a weekday in my small town and the grocery store was jammed up. I said the same thing to my wife on the irony of "not gathering..."

If rhyme was a drug I'd sell it by the gram.

 

What a week! Now next week I have to work from home.

 

I'm off until Wednesday when I go back to work but travel to Baltimore for my annual review. Waiting for word that will be done via Skype instead.

There's talk of pulling the outside sales team and eliminating face to face sales calls temporarily... Part of me is hoping that happens so I can do more house stuff.

Finally wrapping up loose ends from the kitchen remodel. I'd like to redo the floor in my powder room and laundry room too.

 

The company is trying out working from home to see if we can still be “billable and productive” at home

 

I've closed $80K deals while sitting in the cigar parlor puffing away.

 

Let's keep that to ourselves though...

 

I spent 1K today at the depot today on material just in case we declare state of emergency. I have a couple jobs open I can’t risk

 

HD will remain open, we are treating this event like we do hurricanes - with the exception of added cleaning levels in the stores and a relaxed attendance policy. Paper products are inbound to all the local stores from our RDC's - we are better equipped than most retailers to recover from a run on product.

 

You almost got a phone call today. But we resolved the issue fairly easily.

smh. Freaking job security for me at this point. Not complaining but this isn’t how I wanted to spend my week off from school.
