My Shopping venture was quite interesting .Weis Schnecksville !!

They changed the hours to a 0700 opening my first instinct when I read the sign was to just go home.

At 0700 it was about like Grand Prix start only with Shopping carts grid lock trying to all get inside at once

Turns out it was correct it was down right full contact grocery shopping with limits on product even though it is marked on sale in the aisle Normal times you see the same shoppers early weekend mornings . so many strangers .

The shelves were empty on quite a few products since 2 gallons of water(any two water items was the limit) would not really do all that much I grabbed some Gatorade Pasta 2 Pork Roasts and could not take it anymore lowest grocery bill ever.

He’ll appreciate that. I hated it when a homeowner was watching over my shoulder. They always pointed out a “ mistake” that I made that’s wasn’t a mistake. They don’t know the codes.

All is good so far. Thanks for asking. Seems like every time you turn around its something else going on. Now it's all we can do to survive this pandemic. Hope all is well with you and your family. I truly hope we ALL survive this.

You know you live in PA when beer distributors are deemed "essential". The place was still packed and running out of the typical brands. Luckily for me I like variety, so I'm stocked up for several weeks:

Might have accidentally had a couple more than my self limit last night, oh well. I'm blaming Lieutenant Dank, heh. Grocery store is a hit or miss. Meat is sparse, but some there. Forget toilet paper, but paper towels are plentiful. Luckily I nabbed some TP before all the shit hit the fan, but I didn't hoard it like some people. Lunch meat and cheeses were still there. The local butcher is out of almost everything. Was able to get some fresh ground beef, but that was it. I only got what I needed for dinner that night, left the rest for others (although they probably wouldn't have the same courtesy). I typically only eat one meal a day so I got plenty to hold me over.

It's busy as ever at work with everybody being at home and shipping stuff. Not to mention all the medical supplies going through as well. They actually sent us another email AND text saying to report to work as usual Thursday. I almost panicked thinking I was supposed to be at work, but it was my night off, lol. Brother-in-law got laid off and unfortunately they are a one income family with 3 kids. Elderly lady across the streets family put her in quarantine since she's at high risk; I honestly don't blame them. We've been helping her get the supplies she needs. My grandmother next door needs to do the same, but good luck keeping her cooped up. Brought her over dinner last night so she could keep more food in the cupboard.

That's just fucked up. I assume the little lady had better luck because it was Thursday instead of Saturday. Although with half the state not working you'd think people would do things on days other than Saturday.

Hello Pa peeps! Just got back from butcher shop. Hung two eight foot led fixtures in butchering area and picked up our deer meat! Good day indeed. Shut the state down I can live off this!

Funny, because paper towels where I am are no where to be found.

I just got back from shopping as well. I actually managed to score everything I went out for! The pasta aisle looked pretty sad, as did the paper aisle, but neither was empty. Store was rationing TP and paper towels. There were a lot of cars on the road but the food store was not crazy. I think they had every single cash register manned, might be the first time I ever saw that -- and mostly they were just standing there. I was there at 1:00pm or so, maybe there was a mad rush in the morning.

I started my day going to my campground to drop off a flat top grill my wife wanted.Dropped it did a light cleaning. While there the camp management told us everyone needed to be out today by 4pm and they were locking down until further notice.Well i ask the wife if she wanted to swing by Shady Maple.Interesting.First thing i see when i walk in antiseptic wipes $12.WOW.Well my wife says we will just grab a couple things.Well a big ass brisket and lots of food later,we got out of there. They had everything except TP. Went to a buddies house to pick up some extra ammo.Headed home,NOPE wife decides we need more beer, another stop.On the way home wife decides she wants to grill tonight.Cool.OH by the way we are out of propane.:annoyed:.Now i gotta stop my my station and grab a couple tanks. Yay i love this being home thing.:boom:

@loosnut, speaking of Shady Maple, I wonder what the Amish are doing about disinfecting? I have worked aside them and they are NOT the most hygienic people.
