Rest of the skids done with self-etching primer. What do y'all recommend for the outer coat?

 

What size tires were you looking for?

wdb is right, Dave. Sharpie. 12ish inches on average ( beak to tail tip), give or take a couple... compared to 18ish on a Cooper's (give or take a couple). Man, when did Tacomaworld become birder world. But I'm loving it since birding has been my favorite hobby for about 20 years (more than working on the Tacoma). Now I've got two hobbies fulfilled in one social medium!

Normal sized hands. I was wondering if it could be a youngster. But now that I've looked at pictures of the sharp-shinned hawk I would have to say that's what it was.

This fella's tail feathers were as long as his body. I didn't post this pic earlier because of the crap quality but this shows the relationship pretty well.

Good morning, fellow Pennsyltuckians!!!

One of our bird feeders is right outside my den window. Since I'm working from home I get to watch birds all day - right now there is a Cardinal pair feeding away. Yesterday, the turkey found his way back as did a turkey vulture that took up roosting in a small tree 50 yards away. A great distraction.

Today is my wife, Lynn's, 65th birthday - mine is in 2 weeks - so we officially enter the ranks of the "high-risk" Medicare crowd. Not sure where the years went because I sure as hell don't feel this old.

Happy birthday to you both . No bears at the feeder down there in Pennsylvania?. My brother lives in Matamoris / Milford area . Lots of bear !

 

We've lost a feeder or two over the years. I normally bring it in at night and the scents from our two dogs out in the yard helps to keep them away from the house, I think.

 

Yes, Pike county has a large population of black bear.

Morning PA!

Had somewhat of a scenic drive up the mountain Wednesday morning back home. Roughly 1" on the mountain. It's the middle of April, was not expecting that!



Windows were frozen shut when I first got in the truck, so was an interesting couple minutes trying to get them open to see. Also glad I didn't empty the de-icer washer fluid out for the bug stuff!

Hope everybody is staying safe out there. As of this Saturday we are now REQUIRED to wear a mask of sorts at work. IMO should have done that from the start, but it is what it is. Trying to do most of my shopping online, but I have to stop by the meat market again and go to Harbor Freight for an oil extractor as I need it soon.
