Honestly getting difficult to keep track of what day is what...

Just got back from a nice 3 mile morning walk. It's quite brisk out but better than sitting inside. There isn't a single cloud in the sky, too bad it's not 20* warmer. :(

Have a great day all!

For those of you that have done AAL installs, got a couple questions. If the weather ever breaks enough on the weekends, i have new ubolts, Deaver 1.5" AAL, and 5100s i'm going to install on the rear of the taco. Is there anything i should specifically make sure i have on hand or prepare myself for? Once the truck goes up in the air and parts start coming off, thats it. i'm stuck in the driveway lol

Do yourself a favor now and hit all the bolts with PB Blaster or similar. Also have a torch handy - those axle bolts can be stubborn.
Besides that, just double check you've got all the necessary hardware for the swap & you should be good to go.

Do you have a good impact wrench? If not, you may as well start by just cutting all the hardware, especially if this is the first time the stuff has been apart since 06.

Also the stock shocks have the little 1/4" space on top of the stud to try to use to turn the nut loose.. Just cut the damn stud off and be done with it.

I'd want new center pins for the leafs on hand too, hard to tell what they look like.

Good call, i'll have to make sure i got gas in my torch.

Yup, def plan on using my impact gun. Oh yeah, i have new center pins too. The truck was last taken apart in 2015 or early 2016 for the frame replacement. So most of the bolts have at least been broken loose within the last 5 years. I know that doesnt mean much with the winters we have, but maybe it helps? lol

Woo hoo! Got through to the local State Store. We'll see what they actually have in stock - told Lynn they have not received a shipment since the closure.

Now my former coworker Working at Lowes checked out a Customer that tested positive For the Bat Flu she had to quarantine at home with her Husband for 14 days and go figure .

She tested negative and no one was injured during the at home time.

I was going back and forth between tires and settled on Falken Wildpeaks. Decently aggressive looking and I love them.

Kind of wish that flat bed was for a long bed.
