I've had absolutely no luck getting on the site. I keep trying, though. It's like playing the slot machines.

Yea I thought it was quite hilarious that I got through after I "bootlegged" some back from MD. Not much of a liquor person so my bottle of Bushmills (for sippin') and Evan Williams Cherry (mixer) will last me. I do love a good Manhattan, but they were out of dry vermouth and I'll only have one with 50/50 sweet/dry. More of a beer guy though, but I think I've went through every IPA, Porter, and Ale at the local distributor. I might have to stop by again as I am taking vacation the following week; that and grandma is running low on her VO and won't get into the Jack Daniel Green Label I got her a while back.

PS, I love your "PPE"! Would have loved to see that in person!

Yup. No mountains anywhere near there. Strictly a historical name from when the division was in CO. Fun fact, some of the division members were founding members of several ski resorts in CO.

 

Fun Fact... That's where my cousin is from Grand Junction Colorado... came all the way out here. He's back out there now, (lucky sob).
That's still pretty cool though, I was up there had to drive through the Res to get to the hospital he decided to visit after velocity, gravity and the guardrail post beat him and his motorcycle. (again...lucky sob)

 

The 103rd MI and the 101st MI in Wuerzburg, Germany. I was the 3rd ID G2 in 94-95, then took command in '95. The Division reflagged in '96 to 1ID so I ended up getting "credit" for commanding 2 battalions. I deployed the BN to Bosnia in '96 and turned over command there in '97. That was when there were still separate MI battalions supporting each Army Division and an MI Brigade supporting the Corps.

I loved being with a Light division. I was with 7ID(L) at Fort Ord in 90-93. Started as the Regimental FSO to 9th Infantry Regiment with 2/8 FA. Blew a knee out and was facing a medical retirement at 13 years of service - convinced the doctor that if I transferred to a non-combat arms branch I wouldn't have to run any more. Branch transferred to MI and figured I'd make it to LTC and retire. Somehow I still managed to pick up Bn Cmd and retired as an O6. Life is good.

I received an update from my State Rep. on when PA is going to start reopening. To all Mods, this is not political but for informational purposes.

Based on the metrics, it's going to take awhile before the northeast region moves to Yellow - requires two weeks at a 50 rating...and we're at 187 as of yesterday, I think.

I only did my initial enlistment and decided to get out. Of my three + years, I was deployed for about two, including training.

So I get banned for posting this "Friday" meme with Trumps face imposed on Smokeys mom and I'm still banned from that thread but others can post memes with democratic politicians faces and nothing is done? Well we know who one Mod supports and got triggered, don't we? Not fighting, just think it's bullshit double standard.

 

Took a month but this finally hit close to home. A friend of over 20 years of mine who lives in Doylestown, her husband is a first responder (paramedic) and tested positive. He’s living in their travel trailer separated from her and their 3 children.
So far is mildly symptomatic.

This shit sucks.

 

I didn't get banned because I kept talking about the "stimulus check" because everyone else is still talking about it politics and nobody's getting the ban hammer. Just an observation, alot of members have agreed with me on this.
