I will get Goats before another weed whacker i had a good one till I let a coworker borrow it he thought using it to cut roots was a great idea .

The roots were not so bad just the rocks and dirt.

Then decided the 2 cycle mix I used was to hard to mix .

That's good stuff. Jan of 95 I was at a Warfighter with 1AD - Giebolstadt (sp?) airfield near a HAWK site is where we stood-up. Funny thing happened as we were doing this during the superbowl...for about 4 hours nobody had any reports of contact, nor anything to do - was as if magically everything pause-ex'd

When I ETS'd in 95, my old Bn (5-3ADA Bradley and Wheel Stinger, with one Btry of Avenger)) deployed in support of Bosnia stuff - in fact, even saw them on CNN over christmas as they were highlighting operations. If you need anything from over here, holler!

Thanks! I hope your PCS gets worked out - are you headed to AMC in Michigan? I'll keep my out around here for 1st/2d Gens - actually just sold my 2004 Extra Cab OR that only had 41k on the ODO in February to make way for the 2020.

I would have loved that truck. Thanks for keeping an eye-out, I've sub'd to the 2nd Gen for sale forum - there's a VERY handy 1st gen with awesome flip-camper thing I love; just unsure about the age of the truck, and it's in oregon which means i buy it, cram my adult daughter, two dogs and a cat and drive it to Detroit. Then to Oklahoma. That's why I was looking at Midwest trucks initially. Truck should be in detroit when I land - unless i change where i land but that can create its own problems.

Got it!! The access cab would be too small - needing room for my grandkids was one of the things that drove me to move to the new truck. The owner of my old one loves it, though. At 41k miles it is still in break-in phase.

My sister lives about 45 minutes north of Detroit.

And, I spent about 4.5 years at Sill - officer basic and advanced courses, i taught in the school for about two years and then commanded a LANCE missile firing battery there. I went back 2 years ago for a reunion - lots of changes...except the airport is the same as it was back in the 70s & 80s.

outstanding. My ex is in NewHaven - about 45 mins north of Detroit. When we PCS'd there we lived in Rochester then Armada.

And I had BCT at Fort Sill. 9 years until i hit FERS min retirement age, so hoping this is the last PCS; would be great to retire where it all started.

Crazy to see how many places we both know a little about. Small world.

Unfortunately that's what I'm saying. I pulled in and he said it sold at 1 PM. He said I was the third to stop in yesterday to inquire about it. Told him to start selling Toyotas and walked out.

 

I am so sorry for your wasted trip. I think it was pretty lame for him to engage me, and start talking 'plans to sell' to me remotely, and not give me the heads up. I'm not saying money shouldn't talk, but it's piss-poor to have just ignored me; especially when he suggested I have somebody come see it for me and all that. Anywho - thank you very much, once again. I owe ya a beer.

 

No worries, I'd rather it work out like this than you buy a POS site unseen. I didn't have anything else going on yesterday so it wasn't a big deal.

Salesman care about the sale, unless you are buying their new stuff and might be a repeat customer. Used and not the brand they sell, I'm sure they could've cared less who bought it.
