I put 265/70/17 on and I had to bend back the fender plastic. Just barely getting by without the cmc. Also had to remove the dumb air dam and mud flaps.

UTP for an access point. It's more a matter of being in the basement of a slaughterhouse than of running wire.

255/85r16 no rubbing on stock wheels.

For some reason, I wouldn't think a slaughterhouse would have a basement.

All the little (and sometimes big) bits that don't become food go through screw conveyors in the basement into a trailer to go to rendering for jello and shit.

I wouldn't think the basement of a slaughterhouse would need an AP. haha

In this case, it's used to detect impacts and control the speed of the lift based on the driver.

Say you have a new guy that you want to limit to 2mph, but you've got a really experienced driver that can have unlimited access to the lift. Each has individual codes that let you restrict based on operator rather than machine. It also logs who was operating the lift when they hit something, and sends that off to a cloud service which alerts safety.

That is really interesting. I am really surprised that that industry would be interested in that kind of thing.

We haven't received these yet, but they're coming this month.

This is an extremely unsafe industry, but we're doing what we can.

Wow! Good for you guys! How in the world did someone convince management to approve something like that in today's climate? I cant even get $40 a month approved to do basic IT documentation and password management. haha

These are like 45k a unit. They'll pay for themselves if they prevent one injury.

I don't know what you have there, for documentation I just use the built in dokuwiki on my Synology NAS that holds backups before I ship them to backblaze.

I tried to get dokuwiki off the ground but mgmt doesnt want another server to have to deal with and secure. I even went so far so to create a mock site and show the cool stuff we could do but the interest wasn't there. So I went searching for a cloud solution and found a product very similar to IT glue but like half the price and then all of a sudden all spending was haulted. So now im just in a waiting period hoping that the economy bounces back before they start making more serious cuts haha.
