Hah! You probably landed closest to me of the Berks County representing PATW crew. Friedensburg intersecting near 562 is in the "Mt. Penn" "Carsonia" area. Friedensburg passes not far from my house too. But that town is down about 10 minutes from me.

 

Oh... I forget who on this board does glass. I bought a home made wooden table I'd like to cover over with a piece of glass. I was looking for a quote, but didn't know if the glass guy on here was just too far away to do work in my town.

 

Work stress. Add that to a houseful of kids when I’m trying to work from home.
Also the wife abandoned ship for her sister’s for the day and left me here to deal with it all.

Webex calls will be done WITHOUT the video option today.

I need a vacation, a REAL vacation, even if it’s just me taking off for a few days in the truck.

 

Working from home is miserable IMO. It blurs the boundaries between work life and home life, and makes them bleed over into each other.

Might be pertinent for some communication with the missus regarding that if you're working you can't really be also dealing with a bunch of kids and their schooling.

 

You and I can't really work at home Adam... that's nice. Can't chop up animals in the home. ;-)

 

No school today. That starts tomorrow. We have a plan in place for that already

Is there service at FRO? Sounds like working from the tent needs to be an option. One that I'm fully confident you can achieve if properly motivated.

 

Actually yes, one of the entrances for FRO is in the back of the St. Clair Home Depot parking lot.
Signal wouldn’t matter as I could connect directly to the dedicated network through their store WiFi.
Though has crossed my mind.

but if I’m going there I want to get away from all of that anyway.

 

That's how today's been! Needed to take a number off my Verizon bill and put them on their own bill, so naturally I went to the store to get it done. But nooo they don't do that at the Verizon store. Tried to do it on my phone in the parking lot, but couldn't get it to work. Drove all the way back home and was able to start the process on my desktop computer. Had a hickup with the identity thing so we were told by phone we could do it by email or stop by the store. We decided to go back to the store only for them to tell us they can't do it and I have to email copies. Basically we drove 100 miles all together for nothing... Still having a couple hiccups with it... Not been my day! Don't think I'm taking vacation again as something stupid happens every time.

 

Is it an actual Verizon corporate store or an affiliate? I have had some issues in the past with affiliates and now just drove the extra 20 minutes to a corporate store.

 

Corporate store. This was the first time I've ever had an issue there...

 

No ideas then, kind of bs you can't handle an issue in person. What's the world coming to? That would be enough for me to change services.

It was quite Common in my misguided youth from the stories I overheard .

 

hayyyyy can any of you tell me if i can bring a firearm into PA while on vacation? i know i can't carry it because my state doesn't have reciprocity with PA, but i just wanted to be able to have one with me secured in the car.

 

I'm not sure, you can probably call the PSP and ask them.
