Lol , I don’t move around so great under the truck . I have a fucked up back and back issues and my crawling around under a truck skills aren’t the best . I do it to keep moving and it’s good exercise for my back , so I tend to make jokes about how I move around in the condition I’m in lol (so I’m not miserable I hurt and can’t move and my back is fucked attitude )

Rode the streetbike to my bros house yesterday. Then took my dirtbike out for a ride with my brother and and a couple friends. All in all was a great sunday.

Good morning all! Little brisk this morning as I rode to work. 41 degrees as I crossed the small creek near my work.

Riding home last night was a bit chilly. I was smart and wore long John's. But the light weight sweatshirt did nothing

I have a heated jacket liner and bike has heated grips. I'm having an issue though with the wireless controller for my jacket liner and think i need to re-sync it. I put new batteries in it last weekend and think it lost the sync to the liner so I need to get that straightened out. Need to dig out my riding pants too as jeans aren't enough now in the mornings.

That's called as keepin' it real, peeps. I've earned my tailgate tape mod. Bought this beast from upstate NY trashed of rust, through and through. Wouldn't pass inspection last year... too holey. Mechanic said he'd consider things if I patched holes with metal tape and let him look it over after that. I spent months last year making my own rocker panels 100% and patching all kinds of other holes and replacing the bed, etc, etc. By the time I was done all the important stuff I was so done with spending all my free time doing body work and said to Hades with it and left the tape on the tailgate. Now the tape is just kind of a trophy to me. Tailgates are pricey and I'm good with it not being as fancy as say Taco Critter's 1st gen. (Though that was his bumper you see there.)

Incidentally, for anyone looking into the tailgate tape mod... Underneath that dryer vent tape is name brand Flex Seal tape. All and all the double layer of tapes has actually stopped the rusting process fairly nicely. Before I did that I'd see the bubbling/rusting get bigger by the passing months. I've had that tape on for 14 months now and the rusty zone hasn't spread out yet. Probably wouldn't work with the same efficacy on a frame or a rocker panel or rusty floor boards, ya know! ;-) But for the tailgate it seems pretty handy.

    Good morning folks :hattip:.
I used to crawl around under my trucks and cars rain, sun, snow, hot, cold or what ever mother nature through at me. Didn't have a garage so when it needed to be done, I had to do it. Now, I don't crawl much but take it in have the oil changed, and work done (except for stuff I can do:)).
    Have a great day all.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
There's a big shortage on campers now because they can't get the AC units. The local dealer here is backordered until April. I bet it goes quick.

I have a summer jacket and a winter jacket couldn't find either of them yesterday. Guess that happens when you don't ride very often. Truck will be paid off in December. Looking to get maybe the bmw r1200gs or the triumph tiger.

My brother-in-law and his wife decided to purchase an RV a few months ago to use to travel to the west coast to visit their kids/grandkids. They went on the first day and the place was loaded with various types, sizes, etc. They bought a smaller Winnabago - sleeps two. They went back to pick it up two weeks later and every RV on the lot had been sold and they could have sold theirs back on the spot.
