    A brisk 34° out right now. Looks like it's time to bring in all the detailing products and paint outta the garage and into the basement. Not looking forward to the colder weather. Guess it's time to get the snowblower out and get it running. I did drain out the almost 2 year old gas, which surprisingly didn't smell too bad. Just dumped it in the truck, no sense wasting it. Didn't even use it last year and hope to have the same luck this season. Only needed 4wd in the truck once last year on an icy incline. Speaking of which we had a discussion at work the other day about getting to work if it snows a decent bit. I told my manager I was saving vacation days in this event, but went in a tirade of "When I lived in Utah all I had was a FWD car and got to work, you have 4wd you better be here!" Hah, I snapped back "4wd is for getting me home, not getting to work!" The guys all kinda nodded, but I'm on the shit list now...:rofl:

    It sounds like a great idea -- but not so wonderful to live sometimes.

    Old schedule was 6a-3p, you could leave work and go to the bank, Dr, car inspection - super. Downside was production Saturdays.

    Now work 4/10 (6a-5p) and "get" Friday off -- anything you could do during the week is now crammed in to Friday, plus production Fridays -- fortunately we "only" work 8 on Friday...

    Not much left of me by Friday afternoon...

    I think we all had this talk over the years.

    My answer before having a company truck was always Give me a Company Truck I have no problem coming to work in a blizzard not my vehicle not my insurance not me paying to get winched back on the road after driving in the pond in a white out.

    Any more even with the Company Truck I stay Home,

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! We have to work on the apiary a bit today. Otherwise, it should be a slow one. Sent the UTV in for a service on Friday - looks like my timing will be good with the warm up predictd through next weekend. In any case, I have the ATV/plow to fall back on if necessary. I didn't realize how much I rely on the UTV now until it isn't here.
