Hah, that doesn't work where I'm at. Fact, it gets even tougher having to do it all by hand. Was real fun the night "C" phase blew up (literally, entire electrical room was filled with smoke) and had to go to generator power for over a day. That 16 cylinder Cat loves diesel that's for sure.

Sitting in the parking lot at work ... always forget 7:30 is when the building opens for employees.... stopped at Home Depot already for a ryobi power inflator. Won’t have to carry around a bicycle pump to pump me air bags up when I do tree work . To cheap to buy onboard air.

Is there some kind of event going on with Levan Machine & Truck Equipment this morning? I passed about a hundred random people's pickups making a makeshift parking lot on one property and then people directing traffic into another property a quarter mile uphill. I just asked my neighbor and he thinks it might be some kind of auction?

One day had the hidepuller rider carriage and pulling drum fall off 7' in the air, with the operators in it.

Fuckers asked to do it again.

Good Saturday morning fine folks. Enjoy the weather today.

Maybe they need some Mountain Dew :D

And not using their turn signals...Pet peeve of mine are the folks that have a how do you say "luxury" car and feel they don't need to use the turn signals because they are special and we are mind readers:annoyed:.

Have noticed an "awful" (in quotes because that's how most of them drive) lot of New York plates around in eastern PA even upstate. Must be the mass exodus from a dying city! Didn't want to get political :).

Have a good one and stay safe.

best part of a city is the people and access to everything, if you can’t do any of that it just becomes what it is, an expensive hell hole

"Everything"... but nothing I want. Peace and quiet, open fields and country, hunting/nature, honest people, lack of traffic. You're spot on about "expensive hell hole" regarding cities. Sorry all you city loving Tacoma brothers and sisters, but to each his own.

Somehow I keep talking to these city girls who don't even own cars. Like, wtf would live be where I live without a car?

    Different strokes, I guess.

I live within city limits of one if the biggest hell holes around, although not in the middle of it, I'm getting burned out and fed up nonetheless ... I digress

Around here, even though rental real estate prices went down, it is still expensive to live. Car insurance is expensive, it's hard to find parking especially if one lives in apartment building. I'd say, it might be too many hurdles for some, to even try to have a car if they don't necessarily need one (nowadays almost every atore/restaurant /whatever delivers). So yeah..

I absolutely love being out in the country - 10 minutes from groceries, 5 from the dairy, 25 from the city and off a dirt road with very little traffic. When we hear a car coming down the road we look at each other and say "Better grab the porch gun."

I envy you! I’m not in the city but I’m also not in the “country” I get close enough doing my wood projects with brother joe. This brings calmness

firm believer that everyone should live in a city for a year or two. Went to school in Philly and lived there for a couple years after. Now live in the country, want no parts of the city, but have so many good memories and experiences you can’t get anywhere else.
