In my opinion, front facing anytime/parking camera is more of a gimmick than anything, but yes, could be utilized while off roading, etc. Rear facing and parking assist are doing a fine job making me (and others) rely on gimmicks instead of mirrors. But then again, they come in useful if you have a cap/topper and live/work/park in the city.
As of dash cams... Of course you can upload itiot drivers, accidents etc to YouTube, but sometimes it could really come in handy protecting you or family in case of lawsuit. Unfortunately I do have an example of that, but it's still very much so ongoing case, so...

Thanks for the answer. A great practical application.
It is a shame that "we" need this for litigation/defense but I guess that's where we're at these days.

Few things I ponder over since installing a front and rear Camera.
I find that another set of eyes is not a bad thing- Parking Mode watches the truck with most any movement when unattended/parked.
I also find that another set of eyes is not a bad thing as I have actually toned down my "aggressive' responses to people...well, I am on Camera also.
(red lights, Stop signs, Aggressive drivers, Speed limits, idiots, etc.)- GPS Feature tells a ton

For me, its like kind of carrying a firearm....God Hope I never Need it, when I need it is available and I behave more docile when I am carrying.

so for the money...the extra set of eyes is a nice protection for me.
(and for sure I would have one if I had younger drivers in the house...no doubt)

Had my low pressure fuel pump replaced today for the recall.. about an hour and a half of my life wasted, which I guess really isn't that bad.

Yikes! I would never think of paying that much. Is that a going price closer to Philly? Yet another reason I moved out of town years ago. Things are just expensive as a privilege and for no other reason out that way. Trees don't cost that much. They ARE raping you. I get a tree between $20-40 out my way (Oley, PA... closer to Reading). It doesn't actually cost the yahoo that loads them onto a truck and delivers them closer to the city an extra $40 of gas and time PER TREE... they're just raking people over for the more money because they can, and people knowingly pay it.

Course I didn't buy my tree yet this year, so maybe I should get off my soap box. Maybe I'll see this weekend that they play the COVID card and act like it costs more this year to have a tree out my way.

Good afternoon folks. Was up early and headed up state to winterize the place. Just got home a bit ago. Saw half a dozen vehicles parked along the I 476 Tpke at state game lands hunting. Only saw 3 buck on 2 separate vehicles. One was a nice size 8 point. A little rain, a little sleet but no snow ....Yet:D. Have a great day folks.

Hi John, can you post the link to vote for the 1st gen Tacomas. I voted for @TOYTONKA , but couldn't find the 1st Gen. Thanks.

Well, this place is about 45 miles from Phila. It’s 2 minutes from our house but haven’t been there in 15 years. Clarke’s Christmas Tree farm, needless to say we will never return.
