Ive been thinking about that as a replacement for my taco, or a 4runner. Got that kid and dog life i didnt have when i bought the taco, so i could use the extra cabin space.

Ninja edit: or an older Sequoia or a GX470. I've seen some impressive modifications done to those models too.

I'm iffy on the redesign, it's going to share the same frame with the new Tacoma, only have a twin turbo V6 option and from the spy shots of the exterior I really don't like it (Ford, Chevy and Dodge inbred looking). I almost got a new 19-20 Tundra last summer before the prices skyrocketed up $10-15k but I waited too long searching for the right model i want with the options I want. Should've just special ordered it from Toyota.

I would stay away from the older Sequoias up here in the rust belt, toyota doesn't cover them and I've looked at so many that were rusted out underneath I probably needed a tetnis shot. I need the extra interior space too for my family, the V8 power and extra towing capacity would help as well.

Oh for sure. Anything i get after this truck, because it will more than likely be used, i plan on looking in non rust belt states and getting a one way plane ticket and drive back. I'm always up for a road trip lol.

I ended up with a Gladiator because it's got almost full size truck interior space, and a nicer interior, that the Toyota. And it's the same money as a Taco these days.

The taco frame is already a flimsy POS with a 2nd gen on it, I can't imagine that going well with a supposedly "full sized" truck and turboed motor on it.

    Morning PA!

Been a long busy week, glad to be on my off days! In a random spur of the moment I decided to email the Toyota dealer I use about trading my GTI and Tacoma in on a brand new 3rd gen. Some reason I got a burr up my ass to finally do it  Reminds me I need to reinstall the back seats and dig out the original wheels outta the garage attic. Don't really expect much out of it, but it would be a nice Christmas present to myself...

They said it’s fine, but have to schedule the application. Looks like I’ll be taking the sliders off, and they won’t be going back on.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I don't think there is. Take a look at the BST rules in case you are trying to sell something.

Yes it’s either perforated or not... no perforation then they order the wax. The wax then gets applied to only the front half (boxed) portion of the frame ONLY as per Toyota’s instructions.

Don’t really need them. I’ll probably clean them up and sell them.
