truck has a 100,000 miles on it was going to spend a small fortune on mods to make it 4x4 and trail ready and its already a pretty bad daily driver. figured it was time for a change so i will drive the gti for a while hopefully in a year or 2 i will pick up a trail truck

 

And my TRD sport doesn't?

 

my off road didnt. plus i wasnt dropping 40k+ on a truck i was going to cut up and mod. at some point i will buy another one just wasn't the smartest financial choice right now

 

40k I only l paid 27 +ttt

 

for the any of the trucks i wanted i was looking at between 38k-45k and i just didnt want to spend that. i could have bought used but i would rather have new if im going to only have one vehicle. vw was the nicest car i could find that had most of what i wanted for under 30k. like a said before in a year or 2 i will prob look for a used truck to beat on assuming money is right by then.

not fighting with you either lol. just bounce between doing work and here lol. i was looking at 4dr long bed tacoma sport with nav and that shit. jeep wrangler rubicon and all the fun stuff. i was playing with the idea of a subi but they dont make much that turbo and an auto that i liked

 

DCLB SR5. upgrade everything when you have money. You pay $1000 for the stereo option right? By the time you pay off the truck that $1000 turns into $1250

 

sr5 seats are trash you pretty much have to get a trd if you are in your car for any long amount of time. personally im not looking for a project car so i wanted to start off with a decent set up and just add a few things. just came down to doing to math and the what i want and need out of a vehicle it wasnt going to be the best opinion for me. plus i was lucky if my truck saw dirt 1 a month and only a few times a year did that involve anything that actually required a truck.

 

Ill sell you my seats for cheap

Well when you get back to Tacos let me know. You can buy an Sr5 and buy my seats and you'll save a ton
