Happy New Year to PA TW!!! I really hope 2021 is better then 2020

 

Almost bed time here as well Greg. Seen my share of "Welcoming in the New Year" and I will really be glad to see 2020 go. Just hope 2021 will be a better year for all.

Welp. We did it a smidge early. But the Amocat is gonna be getting a break this year..

Officially logged on as Battalion 45 at 1957hrs. Got just about everything switched over. Just waiting on the new leathers to arrive.

Happy New Year fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians from Mighty Mortgage Manor!!!

We brought Lynn's mom up yesterday afternoon and had a New Year's Eve dinner - steak, crab cakes, potatoes and green beans. Had some wine (Lynn & mom) and Woodford Reserve Double Oaked bourbon (me). After Lynn took her mom back down to her house we watched some of the New Year's Eve shows....fittingly seemed to be dumpster fires, especially the Fox show. Called it quits and was in bed and asleep by about 10:45. Going to do nothing today.

That's good news Doug! Wishing you guys the best! If you guys need anything you know we're just down the road.

Looks like the new year came in with a "bang" around here. I was up from 6pm Wednesday to roughly 5pm yesterday, just couldn't hold out any longer. All of a sudden I'm awoken I hear the siren from the fire house, fireworks, and gunfire. In my tired state couldn't figure out what the Hell is going on! Are we under attack, what? Then it hit me, oh yea, it's 12AM

In other news I'm switching from 3rd to 2nd shift, so no more nights and I get to atleast fall asleep when it's dark out! I get 6 days off to adjust, but I usually swap my sleeping on my weekends before, so it should be easy.

I did manage to get the truck in the garage yesterday. They're predicting a pretty good ice storm and the old Maple tree scares the bejebus out of me in ice. I could park on the street, but even living at the end of the street there's still some idiots I don't trust. Poor mower has to sit outside (under tarp) but 2K vs 40+K... yea...

Yes, my garage is still a mess. I want to venture out Saturday and get a torpedo heater so I can atleast do some stuff in the garage in the winter.

I am up and awaiting the dawn of a new year with a cup of strong coffee and a sense of hope for better things. Here's to 2021.

And a HAPPY NEW YEAR to all the folks on the PA thread. Praying for a much better year in 2021. The missus and I were watching a movie and next thing I know she is waking me up to go to bed . Hello, was I not sleeping!!! Then I looked at the time and it was 12:01 AM, I made it to the new year . Kissed her and gave her a big hug, wished her a Happy New Year and went to bed . All in all, it was a good night. Wishing all a great day and most importantly, STAY Safe.
