You get to a certain age and you can't pick up the shovel without it crossing your mind -- and seeing guys your age in the obituary section..

Yup. Lost a friend a few years ago - they found him laying on the driveway - after a snow like this. I always carry my phone with me now.

Finished up plowing out our house and my mother-in-law's house ( the original farm house on our property). On to the next project.

The weather man this morning said we were getting snizzle, a mixture of snow and drizzle. After all these years I learned something new. LOL. Fortunately, the snizzle was done by 5:30 when I had to go out the door.

2X for Tekton. I needed a higher rated torque wrench for axle nuts and such. Didn't want to pay huge $$ for a tool to use once every few years. Bought a Tekton and was blown away by the quality, a nice molded case was included.

    https://www.tekton.com/about-us
I liked this from this page: "Tools, like many things, don't have to be expensive to work well—they need to be made well to work well."

Just curious why you went with them??

    Price ??

I have had times when a merchant quoted a price based on a quantity purchase from the manufacture and never got enough orders so the product was never purchased and the buyers left hanging perhaps offered store credit after screaming enough.

Yeah the price was pretty solid of what I wanted. It beat out other companies so that’s why I went with them. Plus it’s my first time really ordering anything for the truck. I’m used to ordering things for my old Nissan. My buddy owns a shop that does pretty much everything.

    lil' help?

The drivers side license plate light connector: the bulb lens cover is brown, burnt. the inside of the connector seems scorched as well, plus a tiny crack. Pretty sure it got cracked when the shop decided to disconnect it during inspection, as they noticed the burnt lens.

I'm guessing just grab a new connector and splice it in? I already have the new light from Toyota, but it obviously won't plug in due to the sediment or whatever is in that slot of the connector and I can't dig it out..plus don't feel comfortable using it anyway.

Pretty cut n dry, eh? Of course finding the connector should be fun.

It is not coming out because it is melted plastic.

That connector should have a number someplace if you want to wait to order one from Toyota.

The light has a pig tail most of them do?

Plug into the pigtail and eliminate your burnt connector with crimped on terminals I have done this often with lights.
