Good Morning PA. New roof on the house day, No leaks in old roof, but too many roof's in the development have had leak issues. Better to be safe and get it done. Full crew so rip off is almost done (started at 7:30) and the new material goes on next (ice and water dam first and the underlayment) and shingles. Will be done by sunset:thumbsup:. Only problem is it's noisy as hell right now. Have a good day folks.

Had ours done a few weeks ago during one of those warm Saturday's between rainy days. Amazing efficiency, done in one day, sun-up to sunset. A little hard to clean up as it got dark on these short days but only found a few nails and debris the next day. Ours was leaking a bit though. Original roof from '95.

Ours was from 2003. Builder installed roof. When you see how they put the house's up, I was definitely ready for a roof. My house fortunately didn't have as many issues as some, but trying to plan ahead. Should be good for at least another 25 years(if I'm still around ). Have a good one Michael.

Bought a Stihl 140 electric chainsaw to toss in the truck for cutting our way into the cabin and to trim the smaller limbs from the trees that I already have down. Pretty cool and says it will run for 45 minutes per charge. Not so sure about the proprietary "micro chain" but we'll see.....
The first test will be, I hope, this weekend.
I have a Husqvarna 20 Inch 460 Rancher for the big stuff but I can not run it for long since my stroke. (I am a sissy and it gets too heavy). :)
I may need to make my own chainsaw sound-effects as I cut though! :)

I'd have gone Milwaukee or Dewalt for a chainsaw. Interchangeable batteries with your other tools.

I, my step son and some friends did our roof in 2000. I might have another 5 years but I am too old to lug those shingles up a ladder anymore. Next time, a professional will do it.

Anyone want tail lights? All 3 / 4 tabs are broken, but I kept the tabs so they could be epoxied back into place. I also yanked the harness on them for my new tail lights. Could be an easy upgrade from pre LED ones to this.

FREE for local PA peeps. I’m in Lebanon but work in Hershey if that helps

Those are a PITA to get a lasting fix. I've repaired my own in the past and @TinyTech626 several times.

The only other battery-operated tool that I use is an old Makita angle drill. Old as dirt and has only needed a switch replaced. Getting hard to find parts and batteries though! :)
I just do not do enough tool-work to justify worrying about that whole one battery to rule them all stuff.
I am still using what we used to call "hand tools". Hammer, saw, axe, shovel, etc. (no batteries at all). :)

I think there might be a b/s/t section specifically for that.

Color is the only difference. 33s will need some minimal triming plastic, and probably a CMC. Depends how hard you actually wheel.

Hmmm. Temping. I need to upgrade my tail light in the new (to me) whip. The LED’s in my old truck were amazing. Will have to look them up and get another pair.
